Establishment of a Learning Culture

The rapid pace of technological advancements means that what is taught today may become obsolete tomorrow. Therefore, a learning culture thrives on continuously creating and acquiring knowledge. This involves not only gathering information but also fostering an environment where innovative ideas are encouraged and developed within an organization (Achdiat et al., 2022). Consequently, this dynamic environment presents significant challenges for educators and educational organizations seeking to adapt to these changes.  According to Schlaack (2023), educational organizations that cultivate a learning culture place a high value on curiosity and continuous learning, consistently promoting collaboration and effective use of technology. This can be achieved by offering regular professional development opportunities, encouraging educators to pursue further education, and fostering a mindset that views challenges as opportunities for growth and learning (Schlaack, 2023). In addition, it creates an environment where students are motivated to engage deeply with their studies, pursue new knowledge, and develop thinking skills essential for their future careers (Long & Van Hanh, 2020).  This also involves creating communities of practice where members can share experiences and support each other, which can help to build a strong learning culture. Lastly, educational organizations must adjust to the new realities to achieve effective and sustainable transformation. This involves encouraging the generation of innovative ideas, embracing new teaching methodologies, and being open to integrating technology.
